Schoolplays

With the ambition of letting young actors work together and discover the international co-production process, Young Europe incorporates a co-creation project. Young actors from different European countries will participate in four small-scale co-productions. The model of the co-productions is the following: two ETC member theatres from different countries work in close collaboration on the same new written play they have commissioned to a young playwright. The productions will be then staged to school audiences and performed in two languages in both countries. Each play is limited to 45 minutes to allow a discussion between the young European artistic team and the school audiences after the performance.

Participating theatres :

NOTTINGHAM PLAYHOUSE, Nottingham (Great Britain)
DET NORSKE TEATRET, Oslo (Norway)
THEATRE DE L'EST PARISIEN, Paris (France)
DEUTSCHES THEATER BERLIN, Berlin (Germany)
THEATER AN DER PARKAUE, Berlin (Germany)
CYPRUS THEATRE ORGANISATION, Nicosia (Cyprus)
THEATER & ORCHESTER HEIDELBERG ZWINGER3, Heidelberg (Germany)
COMEDIE DE GENEVE, Genève (Switzerland)
